Homemade Taste in Minutes 1 Package of Farmers Market Vegetable Beef Soup Mix 1 to 2 lbs. of ground beef 6 cups water 1 can (15.25 oz.) diced tomatoes 4 cups of your favorite farmers market vegetables 2 medium size potatoes diced
Brown ground beef, and drain. Add soup mix, remaining ingredients. Stir and bring to boil, then simmer for one hour.
Beef & Barley Soup: Same as above, add 1 cup pearl barley, 1 dried bay leaf, 1 sprig of thyme, and 1 spring of rosemary
Variations: Add bacon bits, sausage, of Spice it Up with Green Chiles or Jalapenos. Garnish with oyster crackers & bacon bits
BEEF & NOODLE SOUP: Add 12 - 16 oz. cooked noodlesinstead of veggies.

I made the Farmer’s soup this week, using small pieces of lean stew meat. I’m usually a good cook, but have little patience for things with lots of ingredients.
