Directions 1 Package Cowboy Stew Dry Soup Mix 6+ cups Water 2 lbs. ground beef or leftover BBQ meat 2 cans (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes 2 large potatoes diced 2 can (15 to16 oz.) of your favorite beans or vegetables or both
Brown ground beef and drain. Add Cowboy Stew Dry Soup Mix, and remaining ingredients. Stir and bring to a boil, then simmer for one hour. Add more water if desired. (Suitable for Vegans—Leave Beef out) Garnish with sour cream, shredded cheese, and tortilla chips.

I first discovered these in a little general store in Clayton NC. I Absolutely love them and the selection. Also, I look for low sodium soup and you have a few that taste delicious. They are quick and easy to make. I add chicken/beef to almost all of them for my husband who also loves these soups but wants his meat as well ;). I only wish some of them weren’t as spicy. Other than that they’re great. I will keep ordering them.

I really wasn’t surprised how good this stew was…because everything I’ve tried has been good! If u like beef you’ll love this cowboy stew…I added veggies I had on hand as well as what was recommended on the package and it was very yummy! A definable thumbs up from me!

Delicious and easy stew!
This stew mix is so delicious and filling. I love the way the cumin comes through in the flavor. I made it once with ground beef and once with stew meat and both ways are delicious. I also like to add carrots and green beans. The resealable bag is definitely a plus as well.
