Make a Wedding Soup by adding Meatballs
(Try Twisted Pepper Family Favorite Meatball Seasoning Mix)

Directions:
1 Package of Pasta e Fagioli Dry Soup Mix
6 to 8 cups water
1 can (14.5 oz.) petite diced tomatoes
8 oz. dry Ditalini pasta or shell shaped pasta
1 can (15 oz.) Red kidney beans (drained & rinsed)
1 can (15 oz.) White Kidney beans (drained & rinsed)
or use 2 cans Cannellini beans
1 lb. lean ground beef or turkey, cooked and drained

Combine all ingredients in large 8 qt. soup pot, bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until pasta is done

Pasta e Fagioli Dry Soup Mix

I loved the Pasta e Fagioli Dry Soup Mix. The spices were delicious in my soup. I followed the recipe on the package but substituted 4 cups of no salt chicken stock and a large low sodium tomato juice for the water. I added more beans to the recipe also. I cooked the soup for a half hour before adding the pasta. This softened the spices. The soup freezes well for a quick leftover dinner. Absolutely loved it!

Great soup for lots of leftovers

I received this soup by accident when ordering another flavor. The company was quick to respond when I emailed about the mix up and offered to refund me or send out the original flavor that I ordered, and let me keep this soup too. It's not a flavor I would have chosen otherwise but I was glad for the mix up getting me to try it because I loved it! I used bowtie pasta instead because I thought the shape was fun. Will definitely be adding this soup to my next order.

The best and easiest soup!

I picked up this soup mix over the winter for an easy meal. My husband and I were so impressed!! It was so easy to put together yet it tasted as if I spent the whole day cooking! I kept the packaging so I could order directly online! Also makes the best leftovers (even after freezing)!
