Directions 1 Package Cowboy Stew Mix 6+ cups Water 2 lbs. ground beef or leftover BBQ meat 2 cans (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes 2 large potatoes diced 2 can (15 to16 oz.) of your favorite beans or vegetables or both
Brown ground beef and drain. Add soup mix, and remaining ingredients. Stir and bring to a boil, then simmer for one hour. Add more water if desired. (Suitable for Vegans—Leave Beef out) Garnish with sour cream, shredded cheese, and tortilla chips.
OPTION: Spicy Cabbage Soup - add chopped green cabbage instead of potatoes and beans

This stew mix is so delicious and filling. I love the way the cumin comes through in the flavor. I made it once with ground beef and once with stew meat and both ways are delicious. I also like to add carrots and green beans. The resealable bag is definitely a plus as well.
