The Twisted Pepper Taco Seasoning mix is a family favorite and now my friends who come to have dinner love my tacos as much as my family. This package of Taco Seasoning mixed with diced potatoes and peas make the best authentic tacos. Ground Beef Tacos: Brown 2 pounds ground beef in large skillet on medium-high heat. Drain fat. Stir in package of Taco Seasoning and 1/2 cup water. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Spoon into warm taco shells or tortillas. Serve with desired toppings.
Shredded Beef Tacos: Place a 3 to 4 lb. Chuck Roast in crock pot, rub 1/2 package of Taco Seasoning on top of roast, add 1 cup water. Cook for 8 to 10 hours. Instant Pot (6 qt) for 90 minutes. Remove Chuck Roast leaving broth in pot, place in bowl, shred with two forks, discarding any excess fat. Return shredded Chuck Roast to pot with broth, heat up and serve.
Chicken Tacos: Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat, working in small batches, add chicken to skillet in single layer and cook until golden brown, 165 degrees F or 4-5 minutes per side. Let cool and dice into bite-size pieces.
