Ricottta-Filled Meatballs Recipe


      1 pckg Meatball seasoning by Twisted Pepper
      2 lb lean hamburger or ground turkey
      2 eggs
      2/3 cup milk
      1 cup bread crumbs (progresso plain)
      ½ lb fresh ricotta cheese
      1/3 cup grated Romano cheese
      ½ cup parmesan cheese

      Preheat oven to 350° Make the meatballs following directions on meatball package.
      Mix the cheese together, put in pastry bag with a round tip (or a baggie cut off end)
      Make a 1” indentation in each meatball with your thumb, then pipe in about
      1 teaspoon of cheese mixture and form the meat around it to cover the cheese.
      Bake for 20 minutes makes 30 to 36 meatballs
